World War II - When Lions Roared (DVD)

Advantages: Awesome Graphics, Gameplay and Sound
Disadvantages: Connection issues on Multiplayer modes

...This game is awesome. Right from the beginning you are thrown right into intense action with bullets and explosion everywhere. I have finished the game a number of times but keep coming back to what is a thoughrally engrossing single player campaign. It has several 'whoa' moments and the graphics and sound throw you into the tense and chaotic world. The multiplayer mode is also an excellent part of the game, but at the time of writing does have a few issues with connecting to a game (i'm sure this will be sorted). Players can enjoy several game modes including warzone, guardian, execution, king of the hill and more. The newest edition to multiplayer is Horde (which can also be played single player). In this mode a team of up to 5 players compete against wave after wave of increasingly difficult enemies. To sum up this is a truly... Read review

...Gears Of War 2 is the second game from epic in the Gears series, In this new gears of war game there is a lot of new features, some of my favorite new things about the game; my favorite is the amazing story, the second is the 50 level horde mode, another is some of the new updated weapons, minigun, mortar, flamethrower, shield and many more, there is a new online matchmaking setup, problems at first but has been fixed, they have included a new ranking system and new game modes, on the online maps you have new special features on them like monsters, avalanches, hail. Overall this game is a must have and i would reconmend for anyone who likes shooters. I would also reconmend getting the first gears to unlock the extra characters from the first game.... It is the story (shown in colour) of how the people of the USA and Britain coped on the homefront, whilst the service personnel of both countries were away fighting against the Axis countries in what must have seemed like the four corners of the globe. The Atlantic, the Pacific, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the far East, Australasia, and so forth. The first chapter of the DVD is entitled "making do." Because the programme was created for the American audience, it begins not at the start of the homefront in Britain, but with the homefront in America, which was basically created only when Pearl Harbour was attacked by the Japanese.
