whilst home on her maternity leave, her days are filled by strolls with the baby, dirty laundry, and nothing more ambitious than the occasional NCT coffee morning and visit to Primark.
Then an encounter with a ?yummymummy?, Alice, gives her a glimpse into a whole new world, namely the existence of those mothers who manage to look and feel fabulous, who manage ?me-time?, and who maintain an enviable social life to boot; a clear contrast to her bedraggled, exhaustion-driven and mundane existence. She begins to take her few first faltering steps towards becoming a yummymummy, embarking on a programme of grooming, clothes shopping and fitness, and outings with the glamorous Alice and her friends.
However the baby has already had an impact on her relationship, and the changes she is making as part of her progression to yummy mummyhood ...
In 1999, Stephen Sommers wrote and directed the smash hit "The Mummy", starring Brendon Frazer, Rachel Weisz and Arnold Vosloo as the Mummy.
