Once you watch this you won't be able to see it enough or stop laughing at the stupid characters.
Set in London it is about 4 students living together while they are at University even though none of them ever attend and always moan about being bored!
Every episode is absolutely brilliant and will have you in stitches.
This boxset includes both series of The Young Ones each with 6 about 40 minute episodes on each dvd.
Series 1:
Demolition: The council wants to demolish their student apartment but Vyvyan starts to demolish the house from within before they get there. Oil: They need money and Vyvyan finds oil in the basement....or does he! Boring: They are so bored so play monopoly and Neil yet again digs himself a grave and tries to kill himself! Bomb: There's a bomb in the kitchen. Vyvyan wants it to explode and Rik wants to use it against Margaret Thatcher to get everything he ever wanted. Interesting: It's Party time for the students and they sure know how to throw an amazing party and Rik even invites his tutor! Flood: It's raining... a lot. the students get up to their usual antics and their landlord goes insane.
Series 2:
Bambi: The students are up against Footlights College Oxford in University Challenge but they can't win 'the posh kids win they always do.' Cash: Neil needs more cash so writes a nice and polite letter to his bank manager to ask for an extension on his overdraft with the help of Rik, Vyvyan and Mike! Nasty: Yes they've got a video! but don't ask Vyvyan. Time: They had a party last night and none of them can remember what happened. Who is that girl in Riks bed! Sick: They are all ill and Neil ends up sneezing into a bag Vyvyan put over his head! Summer Holiday: It's the holidays but they are still all bored! they finished their exams... but who did best out of these 4?

I used to love this series as a teenager. I see you've posted this under the special 25th anniversary edition DVD of the series, but you haven't mentioned what this consists of! There must be some new footage or actor commentary on this special edition you could tell your readers about?
