I want to talk a bit about M-Lock packaging, which is what packaging is used for this X-Files and all the new updated X-Files box sets. M-Lock box sets are about the size of two DVD cases put together. The discs are then on both insides of the case (one on each side) and the rest of the discs are held in the centre of the DVD case by plastic clips, a bit like inside a normal DVD case but there's a bit more plastic around it so it can swing about freely inside the case... confusing I know :) hehe The good thing about M-Lock box sets is they're made from plastic so there are no more smelly cardboard box sets which get ripped or wet and start to look old after a few ...

Darker, Sleeker...Creepier - Classic X Files...

Advantages: Overall excellent episodes, perfect casting, excellent special features
Disadvantages: Outdated special effects, a few bad episodes

After the bold and daring first series, we open up once more into the world of the X Files. With a year of experience under their belts, the creative team decided to take things to a new level in Season 2, a challenge which I believe they met brilliantly. Opening post-shut down of the X Files themselves, the early episodes of this season focus mainly on Mulder, giving Gillian Anderson the much needed break to give birth. How is this executed? Watch and find out - it's a definite shocker. But rest assured, the remainder of the season once again teams Mulder and Scully together to try and discover more about alien conspiracies and the strange world in which we live. The X-files season one

Advantages: Best box set i own
Disadvantages: only 7 seasons made

The first season of the xfiles really set the mark for alot programs scince,when it first came to our screens it was pretty unique and told different stories about paranormal and alien events and brought them to life on our screensl.Scully and mulder investigate these weirdl events together and also grow as people together and season one is where it all starts its definatley a classic. Some of the most memorable episodes came out of season one ,Toombs, Eve and The jersey devil these are some of my favorites as well as genderbender,ice and lazurus.In all, season one consists of twenty four episodes and if you buy the special edition you get extras of deleted scenes special effects and the original tv advertising,the series ends on a cliff hanger as all good series do and if buy some strange chance you have never given the xfiles ago you ...
