As the season begins, Mulder is missing and assumed to have died in the New Mexico desert. When the agents are reunited they are forced to run from forces in the government who which to silence them.
The First episode 'The Blessing Way' is part two of the last episode on season two 'The Anasazi'. This story spreads through to episode two 'The blessing way'. This season contain a lot of stories that spread over a number of episode I think this make the show more enjoyable. The season looks deeper into the lives of Mulder and Scully and how there relationship grows for each other. One of problems with this season is that the X Files have become more unbelieveable unlike the earlier seasons. this season need more imagenation than some of the earlier ones.
However there is still a lot of Mulder and Scully investiagteing in to the paranormal. All in all this is a good season of The X files which I think is a lot better than season two.

This box set includes all 24 episodes from the third series of THE X-FILES, including such crucial episodes as "The Blessing Way," "Paper Clip," "Nisei," and the season finale, "Talitha Cumi," each deepening the mysterious conspiracy Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) face. The set also includes the popular episodes "Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'" (starring Charles Nelson Reilly) and "Apocrypha," featuring audio commentary from the episodes' writers and directors as well as several episodes never released on video.
