This was taken from the TV series which was a huge success and resulted in many children enjoying the worst witch. Although this film started life as a book it is more commonly known as a TV series because this is where it became popular. Most children would have watched this and enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this film when I was younger and my parents bought me the books and the films. It is really funny for younger children and one of those films which children enjoy watching. Also this film is very enjoyable because it is fun to read and full of adventure, everything needed for a young child! I recommend this film for children up to the age of nine. I believe this film is one for all children to help their imagination develop and for great enjoyment. This film is perfect for a gift for a child who likes the worst witch or if they have not seen it.

However with Harry Potter taking over children's books and films, others ones like this are being ignored especially since it is about girls at a witch school. However it still interests people and recommend it for those who like Harry Potter and those who don't. This is because this film is sufficiently different to interest those who are not interested by Harry Potter.

This film is suitable for children of all ages as it has been rated a U because there are no scenes of violence or bad language. However I think children up to the age of 10 would enjoy watching this and I am sure some adults too!

This DVD is quite cheap compared to many DVDs now and has three episodes on each one is 25mins. So I think that this DVD is quite good value money and recommend it to potential buyers.
