OK so The World Is Not Enough (TWINE) may not be the best Bond movie in the collection. But it is certainly not the worst. Anyway, if you are reading this the chances are that you have seen the film anyway. So what is the DVD release like?
The picture quality is excellent, some effort has gone into making sure that the disc has received a decent transfer. From the backdrops of snow covered mountains to the darkness of the caviar factory battle against the helicopters, the sharpness and clarity of picture is sustained throughout.
The soundtrack is equally as impressive, with an additional commentary track included.
Extra features are where the disc's real strength lies, and a sparkling array of items exist. From an overview of what makes Bond popular, to a look at key stunts in the film, to an extensive behind the scenes look at the Thames sequences, the features are really packed in. Oh and did I mention the music video and tribute to the late Desmond Llewelyn (Q)?
This DVD is a worthy item in anyones collection, Bond fan or not.
