The Women DVD

Advantages: This DVD will give great influence to car moddifiers.
Disadvantages: It makes you want to burn a hole in your wallet!!!

...I have found that this particular DVD has helped me to get an undersite of the modifyin car world. I have watched other DVDs from the max power collection and none of them have ever shown me as much influence about moddifying cars and pulling fit bird's as this one has. There are plenty of women in this DVD which makes it more entertaining, and there are lots and lots and lots of very very very flash cars. If you want to see cars that have been kitted up with extremley powerful engines reaching up to an astonoshing 1000BHP that will do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and beat these SO called super cars on the race strip then this is most definatly the DVD for you!!!!... ...A French family gathers to celebrate Christmas, but before they can taste the turkey the father is murdered and the suspects are the 8 women in the house. To make things worse the police can not be reached as the telephone line has been cut and the car doesn't work anymore. They are all stuck together and start accusing each other. They all had a good motive to kill the father but you will have to wait until the very end to find out what happened. This movie could have been a simple whodunit but Francois Ozon made sure that it is much more. The movie is a bit like a musical as each character has a song to sing. Each song tells you a bit more about each women and maybe will help you to find the murderer but if you are anything like me you will be very surprised by the ending. But who are these 8 Women? ...I first saw this film when it just came out at the cinemas. My first impression was that it was one of the funniest films I've seen. The storyline is genius and Jack Black does not dissappoint. The story is about 2 guys who can't seem to get together with women. Jack Black then bumps into a Hypnotist in a lift who makes him see the inner beauty of a women. So basically what that means is when everybody else sees a fat, ugly women he sees a beautiful women. So you will probably guess the reaction of his best pal when he starts getting it together with a certain women he likes. ...Many women who see this movie will long to be one of Charlie's Angels. These three girls, played by Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, are trained in martial arts and espionage. Their mission is to rescue a captured software genius and prevent his revolutionary voice-recognition device from falling into the wrong hands. When all goes wrong they have to save their boss, Charlie, as well. This is not a film that expects to be taken seriously, but since most action pictures normally portay the women as eye-candy, it makes a refreshing change to see these women in action. The film is action packed and is one of those films you can just pick up and get stuck into. The soundtrack is pretty good too with Destiny's child's Independent women as it's main track.... The Womans Institute of Great Britain are famous for making jams, cakes etc.. and when they are asked for suggestions for the year 2000 calendar a small group of the women decide to make an almost nude calendar but incorporate the woman featured in the traditional themes associated with the WI. They plan on selling just a few hundred calendars with the profit to go to charity. The calendars sold quickly and more had to be published to meet demand. The calendar was soon on sale in London and USA. The women became the center of media attention in the UK and USA.
