...I went visiting my Dad the other day he can't move to great so he tend's to sit in his chair watching alot of film's on DVD'S because it's alot easier for him to use well so he say's I just think he's being an old git so he can keep up with the gagets in life so we bought him a DVD player for his christmas and he phones regular as clock work for what DVD he want's this week. But this week I bet him to it. We were shopping in HMV for CD'S for my son when we came across The WhistleBlower for a great price of £5.99. I knew my dad would like it anything with Michael Caine in it was well worth watching again and again I could hear him say.
We went around to my dad's. His home help had just left and he was sitting in his normal chair. As I passed him the DVD his face just light up.(my dad is a victor meldrew)and then he gave me his face...

Advantages: Great Animation Disadvantages: The theme tune
...to steal the treasure, and Reg has to try to swim after him to rescue the treasure, Will Reg ever be on dry land again? Will he ever return the treasure before the king and queen return?
Train Driver Tub -
The rubbadubbers are all playing on a model train, but Tub decides that he is going to take over everything, but when Tub says 'If Only' he gets himself into real trouble, as he is then the Driver , stoker, whistleblower and ticket collector on the train, but a real train, and things get out of hand when the train gets robbed by Terence anf Finbar. Does Tub give in and let the others help? Will they ever make it back to the bathroom again?
My son loves this series, and used to watch this every night before he went to bed.
The only one thing that is annoying about this DVD is again the theme tune it is one of those tunes that once i gets...

In the course of just two days the usually quiet and unassuming Howard finds himself in the midst of the theft of some valauble jewels, a kidnapping plot, the theft of some secret papers from a government whistleblower and ends up being chased through the streets of San Francisco inn a stolen Beetle whilst dressed as a Chinese Mandarin. Of course, always on his shoulder is the cookie but appealing Judy. To cap it all, it turns out that everyone involved owns the same kind of travel bag - leading to chaos!
The O'Neal/Streisand combination is pure magic. O'Neal is the perfect nerd, repressed and naive; Stresiand plays the part she does best - bossy, cheeky and totally off-the-wall. Together...
