When you think of the 80's you think of bad haircuts and dodgy music, however after watching this film I have to say my views of the 80's have altered some. This film made me apprieate what was loved by so many people however I thought was some weird phase, as I myself had never actually lived there. Adam Sandler is one the of the most talented and funniest actors on the circuit at the moment, and I love all his movies this one especially. I feel that he was really able to make this movie with his natural talent and singing skills. Although we see Adam as a talented actor we do not actually realise that he does have an amazing voice, something which can easily be over looked, but that really comes out in this film. Drew Barrymore was the perfect girl-next door character which was being 'taken for a ride' by an overpertensis pig. She played the part beautifully showing the audience her true love for Sandler through out the film. Also in this film Steve Buscemi plays a brilliant drunken best man who takes an interest into Adam Sandler, he gives some very good lines and scenes with Adam. This whole film was entertaining with a few twists which will take a few people by surprise, although I have to say that some of the best bits were actually the music as this has got one of the best sound tracks I have ever heard in my life, with the last song one of my favourites, as it was so full of meaning that it almost mad me cry. So if you really want to see a fill your night with some good fun entertainment then this is the film for you. As this film has everything that you could possibly desire, love, action, and comedy. So go and rent or buy this film today, and I promise you, you will not regret it.

This has to be the best Adam Sandler film out there. I sure hope it is, because it's the only one I've seen. I liked the sly pokes at changing times, with the CD player, the Miami Vice stubble, the De Lorean, etc. Good opinion, Tam.

Excellent op.! ;) I saw this film about 7 months ago and thought it was superb - that reminds me that I'll have to buy it actually.

Advantages: Great music you can sing along too (if your old enough) Funny script with lots of romance thrown in too. Disadvantages: Well if you didn't like the 80's music, then this may not appeal to you. You might be shocked at the dress sense, lol.
