made in 1927-28. Ten of the recordings were previously unreleased. This is a lot of lightweight Cuban piano music to deal with at once, but it's definitely worth doing. Lecuona's music, which is having a major revival, may not be important. But it's consistently charming and entertaining. The 78s, which sound surprisingly good, reveal even more of a virtuoso than do the later recordings, but throughout we hear playing that expresses the spirit of the music extremely well. And yes, the famous Malagueña is here, sounding very sexy. --Leslie Gerber

This is the king of all boxsets, its amazing. It has all of the matrix films plus loads of special features. Its not really for anyone who hasnt seen any matrix films yet but if your a fan its totally worth buying. Its great value for money as aswell as getting all the films you get 35 hours of special features. Overall its one of the best boxsets I have ever come across and would recomend it to anyone. Its for anyone 15 years and older and inside there are 10 discs including films and special features. In my opinion this is quite cheap as I got it for much more so I would advise anyone to get it here. I would give it 10/10. ...
Advantages: everything you ever wanted to know about Superman Disadvantages: Presenation could of been better

That was until Bryan Singer brought Superman back to the big screen with the new movie 'Superman Returns', and not only does it seemed to have revived the character, but also its revived the previous movies and all its history.

Although I owned all the previous movies on tape before, and the Superman movies 1&2 on DVD, this was a 'must purchase' for me because not only did it have all 4 movies on DVD which was almost unheard of until now, and not only because it also came with the new Superman Returns movie by Bryan Singer, but the fact that it included so much bonus material and different ...
Advantages: An aesthetically pleasing collection Disadvantages: Some rather poor inclusions
A selection of classic Hammer films from the very good to...not so good. An aesthetically pleasing set for fans of the studio, or those wanting at least half of the titles. Features star favourites Peter Cushing, Raquel Welch, Ursula Andress and Christopher Lee (about whom there is an interesting documentary with 'Scars of Dracula').
The extra features vary greatly, the biggest ommission, in my opinion, is the total absence of subtitles for the hearing impaired.
For those who are interested all films are anamorphic, some for the first time, and completely uncut.
My personal favourite was the inclusion of the 1965 film 'The Nanny' which stars a very chilling Bette Davis in a well scripted, and often overlooked role.
Probably a tad overpriced for most, but new DVD versions of individual films are also available, so take ...
