Advantages: Enjoyable Kids Sci-Fi Disadvantages: A bit dated
The TomorrowPeople - Series 2
I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very, very enjoyable
and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness.
Remembered nothing of the second incarnation of the show, 1992 - 1995 and again nothing of the third reinvented show from 2001 - 2007.
You follow some rare talented humans as they 'Break out' and change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as, telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation.
They have adventures inventing new technologies and fighting evil villains on this planet and from other galaxies.
There are a few surprises along the way.

Advantages: Well presented, good storyline Disadvantages: DVD standard film transfer - not upscaled to DVD quality
This series is one from my childhood and one I remember well. It was enjoyable back then and still enjoyable now. It features five stories of five episodes each over three seasons. Each story comes into their own with new characters in each, featuring the main cast Adam, Megabyte and Ami (excluding two TomorrowPeople Kevin and Lisa who left after the the first season). Each story brings a new dynamic and understanding of the Tomorrowpeople and how they react to each inicident which is the basis of each story, from their beginnings (where they find out they're TomorrowPeople) through to the final episode. Each of the stories are well written and directed, the quality of story is very good and melds each episode with the next with good continuity, so that each story doesn't look fragmented or disjoined.
Overall a very good series ...
