I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable

It's crew, humanoid aliens Sula and Flyn, offer Papa Minn the instructions on how to build a ripper ray, a majorly powerful weapon they intend to use against their Thargon overlord pursuers, who plan to destroy the Earth...Season 7Castle of Fear: Guests at a Scottish castle are horrified by the appearance of a terrifying headless apparition but it turns out that the ghost was created by the telepathic powers of a new Tomorrow Person Andrew Forbes. After being forbidden by his superstitious father to create more visions Andrew makes even more ghosts for an American research team and is imprisoned in the wine cellar...Achilles Heel: Andrew's suspicions are raised when superficially harmless aliens, Yagon and Cantor, arrive on Earth against the laws of the Galactic Federation. It soon becomes clear that their intention is to mine Barlumin, a mineral the suppresses Tomorrow People's powers. After being exposed to the substance Andrew becomes powerless and desperately needs some help...Living Skins: Aliens plan to take over the Earth by taking the form of bubbleskin jumpsuits. A horrendous jumpsuit fashion craze is sweeping the planet allowing the aliens to mind and body snatch the human population. John's head cold repels the alien virus and gives him the chance to plan a counter attack...Series 8Although the series was planned to continue, this is the last of the original Tomorrow People shows. It is a satirical dig at the UN and USA foreign policy of the time.War of the Empires tells of when the Earth becomes entangled in a vicious intergalactic war between the Thargons and the Sorsons.A peanut-butter eating US president (a wicked parody of real life president Jimmy Carter) forms an alliance with the Sorsons who build a base on Earth and supply the Americans with new advanced weapons.The enraged Thargons threaten to destroy the Earth in a massive attack if the Americans continue to be allies with the Sorsons.John is thrown into detention and stripped of his powers after insulting the Galactic Trip Council while asking them for assistance with this politically volatile situation.Back on Earth the Tomorrow People are left powerless after being exposed to Barlumin given to the Americans by the allies the Sorsons.

Remembered nothing of the second incarnation of the show, 1992 - 1995 and again nothing of the third reinvented ... ...change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation.
They have adventures inventing new technologies and fighting evil villains on this planet and from other galaxies.
There are a few surprises along the way.

I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness. Remembered nothing of the second incarnation of the show, 1992 - 1995 and again nothing of the third reinvented show from 2001 - 2007.
You follow some rare talented humans as they 'Break out' and change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation.
They have adventures inventing new technologies and fighting evil villains on this planet and from other galaxies. There are a few surprises along the way.
1973 - 1979 Series Series 6 ======= Episode 1: The Lost Gods: Part 1 A new tomorrow person is discovered but must be saved before she is sacrificed to the gods.
Episode 2: The Lost Gods: Part 2 Mike comes to the rescue but the monks think he is a god.
Episode 3: Hitler's Last Secret: Part 1 Has Hitler risen from the grave or been brought forward through time?
Episode 4: Hitler's Last Secret: Part 2 Hitler must be stopped by the tomorrow people.
Episode 5: The Thargon Menace: Part 1 The Thargons arrive on a deserted island and the tomorrow people must act quickly to save the world from slavery.
Episode 6: The Thargon Menace: Part 2 The Thargons are repulsed from the Earth, quite literally.
The show was a kids fun Sci-Fi show but later series tried to move to a more teenage and even an adult viewing audience, it never really worked.
The plots to each show are quite good and move along at a fair pace. The dialogue however at times is not too good and in places awful. The science would not stand up to scrutiny today but at the time it was fun stuff. The actors all gave great performances and held the show together and the plot lines where also pretty good, if not great.
All in all worth a watch and worth it for the nostalgia alone. A fun Sci-Fi romp that you will smile at whilst watching.
Advantages: Kids Sci-fi Fun Disadvantages: Quite dated.

Hsui Tai, a new Tomorrow Person, is introduced in Series 6. Hsui Tai believes that in order to conform with her eastern religion, she must die and be reborn with the God Kishnu, who she is convinced takes the mortal form of Mike. Features all six episodes from 'The Lost Gods', 'Hitler's Last Secret' and 'The Thargon Menace'.
