Possibly the biggest film of the 20th century, James Cameron takes us onboard the most famous ship of all, Titanic. We all know the story; Titanic leaves England for New York on her maiden voyage and strikes an iceberg in the middle of the sea, trapping the passengers in an urgent battle for survival. Sadly, most of those onboard didn’t make it, and this is shown tactfully and respectfully in the film.
The film has another plot in it, and that is the romance of Rose Dewitte (played perfectly by the beautiful Kate Winslet) and Jack Dawson (played superbly by the fresh-faced Leonardo Di Caprio). Beautifully set, with a fantastic scene set on the hull of the boat, will leave you enthralled as the ship captivates you. The camera work, the soundtrack and of course, Celine Dion’s famous ‘My Heart Will Go On’ will all add to what is a fantastic film all-round. A well worth seeing film.
