Titanic is about a ship that was built and sunk and most of the passengers on board drowned.

Titanic starts off with a group of men who are searching the wreckage of the ship Titanic at the bottom of the ocean and they find the safe where a necklace worth a lot of money was meant to be put but when they manage to open the safe it is full of paper but they do find a picture of a woman dated 1912.
The men are on TV talking about there discovery and an elderly woman, who's called Rose, watching the TV at the time sees the picture and rings the men to tell them that the girl in the picture is her.

The men invite Rose to their boat and Rose brings her daughter with her because she looks after her mother. The men don't believe that Rose is the girl in the picture because when they see her she would have to be around 100 years old and won't be still alive but the men listen to Ros's story.

The film goes back in time as Rose tells the story and it sets the picture of four men playing poker in a cafe and 2 men put there tickets to board the Titanic on the table and the other 2 men are Jack, Leonardo Dicaprio, and his friend win the tickets but they have to run because the ship would be leaving soon.
Leonardo and his friend board the Titanic and then we see Rose, her fiancee and mother come aboard. Rose doesn't look very happy and when the Titanic is out at sea Rose trys to jump off the rear of the ship but Jack brings her back aboard the ship where Rose looses her footing and Jack grabs her arm. The crew of the ship and Rose's fiancee hears her screams and Rose's fiancee try's to get Jack handcuffed but Rose gets him to invite Jack to dinner instead.

After the dinner Jack gets Rose to meet him again and Rose sees Jacks pictures he has drawn and sees that he is talented and asks him to draw her which he does. Roses fiancee gives her an expensive necklace which when Rose wheres it it is heavy. Rose and her mother are friends with the man that built the ship and Rose is curious if there are enough lifeboats if the ship sinks and Rose gets told that the ship can't sink.

Rose and Jack have fallen in love and on a frosty night the crew cannot see far and the ship hits an iceberg and starts to sink. The passengers on the ship are anxious to get off and the lifeboats are not full up to the capacity they can hold and most of the passengers jump into the ocean and most of them drown.

The film Titanic is an excellent film. In some places it is sad especially near the end. Titanic is a very heart-warming film and Leonardo and Kate where great characters to choose for the main parts they worked well together.

i can't understand why anyone would put themsleves through 3 hours of agony, when you know the ship sinks, you know most of the passengers die, i mean why bother. Thankfully you have saved me the time and affort of doing that. good review.
