I am a talkative and sensitive person. I work as a security guard from a cruise terminal. Love my rock music and films, but also like to sit down and read a good book and enjoy writing my own.

Well I a bit hesitant to see this. I'm not a big fan of Leonardo, infact I can't stand him and I'd never heard of Kate Winslet. But My mum urged me to watch the film. So I did. I am so glad I did. Although the starting was pretty slow, it soon picked up and I marvelled and trembeled at how fearsome that night must of been. leonardo Dicaprio, plays the part of Jack Dawson. A lovable, to perfect to be real, American. He wins his ticket on board the Titanic with his friend Fabrizio ( Danny Nucci). We learn that Jack has travelled pretty much all of his life, but has enjoyed every moment, life is what you make it. Kate Winslet Plays the beautiful Rose DeWit Bukater. Elegant and troubled. A first class british lady, who is being forced to marry Caledon Hockly (Billy Zane) to save her mother pride and dignity. However, when Jack saves her life, she realises that she loves Jack so much more and decides join him in his life. Of course, the Titanic hit the iceberg, and the romance unfolds more and more. Kate Winslets performance grabbed me. Mainly because Rose manages to absorb woman and you see parts of yourself in her. She was so powerful, elegant and suitable for this role is brilliant. Hats off to her. The effects in this films are awesome. When the ship comes into to view you can't help but feel the goosebumps rise on your skin. You know it's not the real Titanic, but god it's so close. When the ship sinks, the noises and visual refrence on screen, make you gasp, as it your really there. The soundtrack. Oh god it's perfect. The way it fits so beautifully. Calm, romantic tones that begin the film and thundering dramatic rythem that makes your heart beat as the ship meets it's end. This has to be the best Titanic film I've seen. I was belivable most of the time and actually put you in the place of the passengers that night, in your mind. Considering the length of the film and the quality this was brilliant for your money.

(+) Jack Black, very good scenes showing the chemistry between characters, excellent soundtrack (-) Cameron Diaz can be quite irritating but not enough to put me off
