There are many DVD variations of this popular film, yet this review is for the basic 'Dirty Dancing' DVD.
*****Basic Overview of the Film*****
Dirty Dancing was a huge hit when it was originally released in 1987, with a great cast, brilliant storyline, amazing songs and dance moves to blow your mind.
It is set in the summer of 1963 and centers around a holiday camp in America's Catskill Mountains. We follow 17 year old 'Baby' (Jennifer Grey) as she learns much more about life that she ever expected. A chance meeting with Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), the resort dance instructor with a difficult past, pushes her into the realms of emotion filled love for both a man very different to her, and also her natural ability to dance. of the funniest bits of filming I have ever watched, worth buying the DVD just for this piece.
Also a breath taking challenge is when Clarkson tries to out run and prevent missile lock from an Apache R.A.F attack Helicopter.
And a beach race challenge of a Jaguar, a new BMW 6 series and of course a Porsche, who would your money be on, be careful I would of lost a fortune, you'll be amazed at the results.

Their test driver a guy solely referred to as Stig, is a character you never really see, normally he is suited up, and driving hell for leather as he speed tests the cars, this extra footage shows you the best of those tests, also a cockpit footage when the driver takes out a formula one race car in attempt to top the programmes speed record.
And of course all the funny out takes of filming footage.

-million selling latest album American Idiot. This has been generally well recieved by the Green Day faithful and signified a welcome return to form after a some what disapointing Warning LP and a few years of time out.
So with Green Day fever at its hight the band set out on a sold out arena tour of the UK, accumulating with the two Milton Keynes Bowl gigs. At this point I should point out I did manage to see them live in Nottingham earlier in 2005 so I knew what I was hoping to see / hear with this release: and the boys certainly did deliver..........
