everyone else is busy preparing for winter, Tigger just seems to get in the way until Rabbit suggests that he go and find other Tiggers to play with--but surely "the most wonderful thing about tiggers" is that he's the only one? Tigger sets off to find out. The Tigger Movie may not be a Disney classic, but the interwoven songs add to the fun, and the appeal of AA Milne's original characters remains strong enough to carry the film through a fairly predictable plot. Very young children may find a couple of scenes a little frightening, particularly the exciting avalanche sequence, but by the end of the film Tigger has, in true Disney fashion, been reunited with his friends and learnt the deeper meaning of family-ensuring smiles and a warm feeling all round for the audience. --Helen Baker

Advantages: good fun, safe film for the littlest kids to watch, good animation, familiar characters Disadvantages: a bit boring for adults, simple story, predictable
It’s August, the school holidays and three kids are staying with their grandparents. So with just the five year old to amuse, what better than a cuddle and a video? The shelves are examined until we alight upon the many Disney videos, finally choosing a film I had so far managed to avoid… The Tigger Movie!
I am not a huge fan of the Winnie the Pooh films, but I love the merchandise, especially the beanies available from the Disney Store! ... ...and the gang, so will happily watch this video over and over again – so surely I could sit through it once?
The film begins with real life action briefly, John Hurt narrating and a book opening, as if to start yet another Winnie the Pooh film. Just then, an animated Tigger (that’s T-I-double g-er, according to the stripey one!) arrives, complaining that Winnie always gets the action. A quick rearranging of the letters alter the whole ...

Advantages: Good fun filled animation Disadvantages: Overly sweet at times
...bounce, bounce bounce bounce…
The wonderful thing about tigger is that he’s the only one…however, perhaps it isn’t that wonderful being one of a kind? In this movie we found out…
The Plot…
If there is one thing that Tigger likes to do, then it is bouncing. Bouncing from dawn until dusk. Sadly not everyone in Hundred Acre Wood feels the same way about this very Tigger-ish pastime. In fact they are getting quite ... ...it with.
This is the whole premise of this 2000 animated film: Tigger’s search for his family. To start this ‘noble quest,’ Tigger goes to see Owl about what he should do and Owl suggests he look up his family tree. Tigger takes this quite literally and goes off to find the ‘hugest most stripiest tree’ in the forest.
With Roo’s help they look around the forest but too avail. Piglet, Eeyore and Pooh get in on ...

Advantages: Great Film & Great Extras Disadvantages: After too many times it can get annoying
As I'm sure most of the parents of Tigger & Winnie The Pooh fans know, this movie is about Tigger trying to find out if he has any family or if he is "the only one" and going in search of his family tree - literally! On DVD, this is worth buying for the extras alone if you have pre-school age children. The running time of the movie is 76mins and it comes with 5 good trailers before it. There are some brilliant add on extras which encourage your chld ... ...c answers. If you give the write answer, it cuts to a still of the film with happy, clapping sounds. If it is wrong, a picture of Owl comes on. At the end, it gives you a score of how many correct answers you got. However, the questions are always the same, so play it more than a couple of times and the little brainboxes will start getting them all right! THINGAMAJJIGER MATCHING GAME This is where you get a character - eg) Tigger - and have to match ...

Advantages: Good fun for all the family Disadvantages: n/a
The wonderful thing about Tiggers are Tiggers are wonderful things. Yes its true, this film is good fun for all the family. All of the Winnie The Pooh characters (Rabbit, Eeyore, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo and Pooh himself) are present and lend their individual quirks to the animation. Tigger makes the most of his big break into movies and springs all over Hundred Acre Wood just like his usual bouncy self. He manages to frustrate his friends, who are ... ...he. So, Tigger makes the decision to leave with the aim of finding out if he has a family. When this fails he writes a letter and longingly awaits a response. Time passes and nothing arrives for his so he begins to become more and more disheartened.
Roo tells everyone what is going on and a letter from his “family” is forged in an attempt to cheer Tigger up. This backfires in some way because, upon receiving the letter, Trigger claims ...

Advantages: Simple plot, great cast. Disadvantages: Would be nice if it was a little longer
...cos that's the wonderful thing about Tiggers!! As if you didn't know! We hired this Disney video the other day wanting something light to watch that was suitable for all and it certainly fitted the bill nicely. At just over an hour long it doesn't give a chance for kids to get bored and fidgety or adults to start getting cynically or picky! Th cast members are old classics of course - Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, Kanga, Roo and Christopher ... ...As the title suggests, this is TIGGER'S movie, and the story revolves around his lonely, fruitless search for his family and his conviction that there MUST be other bouncing Tiggers out there up his family tree. We get treated to the delightful Tigger bouncing song as is obligatory as well as Tigger in mournful mode singing during his search. His trusty friends don't like to see Tigger lonely and disappointed and dress up as Tiggers to try and please ...
