I first watched the Terminator when I was far to young a couple of nightmares later i was a big fan. The atmosphere the film has is incredible, Arnie is at his hardest and was born for this role. He looks walks and talks like a robot with out needing to act so you really can believe he is a Terminator.

The film is essentually a cat and mouse affair the seemingly unstoppable terminator being the cat and the future mother of John Conner the savior of humanity sarah Connor being the mouse.

The story might seem to be a bit complicated and believe me
its quite complicated to explain it but here goes. In the year 2001 a military defense computer called cyberdyne is activated and given ultimate power as it controls the whole of Americas nuclear missiles and defense capabilities. Needless to say it all goes tits up the computer goes nuts and starts launching missiles at over countrys and of course they launch their own right back destroying all of man kinds achivements and only a handfull of humans survive the nuclear blasts.

then if that was not enough Cyberdyne after creating countles of moody Robots called Terminators starts to kill and inslave the remaining humans. One man John Connor has the bottle to fight against the machines. So he gets together a few humans teaches them to fight and they start fighting the machines. Although the odds are not exactly favoring the humans Cyberdyne see's them as enough of a threat to send a Terminator a machine thats looks human back in time to kill Sarah Connor before she can give birth to her son John Connor the future savior of humanity.

John Conner some how get wind of this develish plan so he
sends a bloke back to protect Sarah from the terminator. Although the chap they send back is no match for Arnie he does get chance to impregenate Sarah Connor thus being John Connors dad! I did tell you it was a bit complicated.

This really is a brilliant piece of cinematic history and although it lacks the supiriour graphics of Terminator 2 and 3 it's a way better film then both of them put together and multiplied by the size of Arnies pecks. I wouldnt say its a scary film although i was scared when i first watched it as a very young boy but it is edge of your seat stuff.

This is a must see movie for any warm bloodied sci fi fan,it has it all, Killer robots, Shooting, Swearing, Suspence, and a little bit of sex! If you havent seen this film please do you're self a favor and watch it.

Please do not allow any young children to watch this film I really did watch this film when I was about 7 and i had several nightmares So please do not allow any children under your supervision to see this film untill they are old enough.

Thank you
