Don't you just hate being delayed at the Airport? Already checked in and unable to leave the premises unless it’s via a plane? Well imagine being stuck in an airport for over 9 months! That’s how long Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) was stuck inside JFK Airport for when his country becomes under attack from within and he find's he unable to fly out of or leave JFK. As time passes Viktor finds himself a job, makes friends, learns English and falls in love with a Air Stewardess (Catherine Zeta-Jones), but Viktor has made a promise and kept it within a peanut tin. What is that Promise? Does he break it? or does he keep it? This 2 hour Steven Spielberg Comedy will put your emotions on a roller-coaster ride.
When I was sat in the cinema the first day it was out in Dubai, by about an hour before it was due to start every seat was taken, I was lucky enough to get a seat, even though it was a row from the front, and the atmosphere was fantastic, there is nothing better than a full cinema with everyone laughing and every one crying at the same points. It just goes to show what a powerful film The Terminal is.
