This really is one of the Disney Classics. I love how magical this movie is. It tells the story of a young boy who is treated like a servant becomes to believe in himself with the help of the wizard Merlin and his owl, Archimedes, and ultimately becomes the King of England. The story goes that who ever is able to pull the sword from the stone, will become King of England. The sword was set fast in the stone and people came from far and wide to try and pull the sword from the stone. The young squire, Arthur, manages to do this, despite everyone believing that the only person able to do this would have to be big and strong. Has some great songs in it, very disney! and it has some really amusing moments. I especially like the bit where Merlin and Arthur turn in to squirrels and some lady squirrels fall in love with them and start chasing them around. The extra footage on the dvd is really good. There is a Sing-A-Long sections with songs from the movie, and even a short cartoon with Mickey and Goofy. A good all round family film with good extra features. Recommended!

Hey good start, you have explained the outline of the plot, in my opinion, quite well; not too much has been given away so it isnt spoiled. Though a lot more personal opinion needs to be included. If you edit, let me know and I will take another look! Amy xx
