Cameron Diaz plays Christina Walters in this fantastic comedy based upon the rules of love. Christina Walters and her friend Jane Burns (Christina Applegate) come home to find their friend Courtney Rockcliffe (Selma Blair) devestated as she had just been dumped by her boyfriend. The pair team up to show their friend that she opened herself to love which is the wrong thing to do, so to help her get over it they all head out for a night out partying. Whilst out Christina unexpectedly meets Peter and hearts start to flip. The next morning Christina and her friend Jane go on a wild chase for Peter after Christina realises he may just be Mr Right. On this chase for Mr Right you are taken through fun, entertainment and laughs.
The casting:
Cameron Diaz is excellent casting for this part as looking at her she does look the sweetest thing. Christina Applegate has an important role in this film as she is the one on the chase with Cameron and she plays it very well giving us a few laughs on the way. Selma Blair also produces a very good performance as well as looking innocent but we find out she's not as innocent as she looks when the other two return home and she's found in her room with a man.
Special features:
There are not too many special features on here except a few documentaries from the director and the cast, which in my opinion are pretty boring but if you are interested in those then those would also be good for you.
In my opinion the opening to this film is brilliant it starts off with different men talking about Christina Walters and what they have to say for themselves is hilarious.
I think this film is really really funny, however if you are not soo keen of the reference to sex constatntly you will not be pleased with this. The rating on this film is 15 which I think is exceptable as the reference to sex on this film is frequent and there are a few cases of strong language.
The running time on this film is 88 minutes long which fits the whole story line in no problems, this length of time is pretty handy if you start to get peeved with the rudeness.
If you do not get annoyed with rudeness and find rude humour fun then this is well worth a buy, I was very pleased with this and would recommend this.
