Honestly, I haven't. THis really has to be the funniest film I have seen. Just to illustrate how good it is, after being recommended it by a friend I went and got it out of the video shop on Two day rental and watched three times. Then when I took it back to the video shop I bought it there and then because I knew I would be wanting to watch it over and over.
THE STORY Admittedly, the film hasn't got an amazing story line. It's only really got one major plot twist which anyone with half a brain could figure out. But to be honest that doesn't matter. It's one of those film you can watch time and time again so a complex plotline would only be important for the first viewing.
Anyway, the film is set in San Francisco and involves three friends (Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, Selma Blair) who like to have a good time and playing the field. THat is until Christina (Diaz) meets the man of her dreams in a club and abandons all her fears to go chasing after him.
It sounds like a very girly film, and I would agree, but the lads I have watched it with have all found it equally hillarious as I have.
THE HUMOUR
I have to warn you that this is not a film for prudes. The humour in the film is all sexually based and quite dirty. The most memorable example of which is the scene in the chinese restaurant where the girls get up and start singing a song about the size of penises.
WHO TO WATCH IT WITH
It's not the sort of film you would really want to watch with your family but I would definitely recommend watching it with friends. A good girly (or mixed friends) night in with a few drinks would be the ideal situation to watch this film. It's the kind of film you watch and then repeat the scenes among friends later.
ENJOY!!!
