James Bond 007 the spy who loved me is brilliant. Everything about it, its detail, story, special effects everything about the film is brilliant.
The story is very original and entertaining. One of the best things with this film is that it makes the impossible possible. And i really mean that. It takes a super mad villian and makes a thrilling story.
The special effects to this day are still outstanding. The models of the submarines, the atlantis and liprus models and the electric effects are awesome. But, it is made evn better by the sets. The submarine pen is, well its beyond anything that has been done before. The huge submarines built for those scenes are spectacular. Also the use of HMS Fearless as the rescue ship and the naval base at the beginning of the film add to the awesome detail.
The acting was good all round. Roger Moores performance surpasses his previous performances as bond. And Barbara Bachs and Curt Jurgens performances were brilliant. They played the parts of very cold characters.
The music was done very well and fits the film very well indeed.
Overall i recommend this film to all. Its a five star film, very entertaining and is worth every single penny.
