Advantages: The early days are the best Disadvantages: There are only 24 episodes!
...By now it should be clear to regular readers of my ops that Friends is one of the things that rocks my world. Im going to write a detailed overview of all the episodes in series2 and give some details about the boxset.
The boxset I have consists of three discs, the older series' have different styles to the newer ones. Seasons 1-6 are available for around £15 now in shops and on the internet. The newer seaons cost much more, unless of course you know about the wonder of play.com and cdwow. Newer boxsets cost arounf £80 in HMV and MVC but they can be had for around £40 on the internet, and thats even before you check out Ebay!
The reason websites such as play can offer better prices is that they import region 4 dvds which are good on region 2DVD players and PS2's.
Series2 is a certificate 12 which means that parental...

...human form in Rose's body, and sets out to cause some trouble. Hidden away, the Cat nuns are breeding 'humans', full of every disease imaginable, in order to come up with the perfect cure. It is up to the Doctor and now Cassandra to stop this, but can they do it withought catching anything?
This is by far one of my favourite episodes from Series2. The sheer giddiness of Rose in the beginning is laughable, and I found all those patients with different diseases fascinating, along with the technical and medichal terms! Zoe Wannamaker was fabulous in this too!
***ToothAndClaw:

Advantages: Best Season of best TV drama series Disadvantages: Not suitable for those of a delicate nature
...of the main reasons season 2 becomes such addictive viewing, when I first purchased this Boxset I watched all 13 episodes within a week, never quite knowing what to expect next.
If the writing is superior in this season compared to season 1 then the acting is equally as good, James Gandolfini is again outstanding as Tony Soprano acting Boss of a New Jersey crime family, he deservedly won the Emmy for best actor in a drama series for this season. Gandolfini is always mesmerising on screen his character can flip between being totally repulsive to completely charming within a single scene, however much you want to dislike him you always find yourself empathising with him as the pressures of his double life reach boiling point. Other notable new additions to the cast include Janis, Tony's self-centred sister, played by AidaTurturro. She seems to...
