Okay so Bruce Willis has been seen as a cop, someone who takes down a terrorist (on 3 occasions) a murder and an assassin. Now hes back as............(tense)......a child pycologist(WOW!!!)
The film -----------------------
Characters ========== Malcom(Bruce): Malcom is a child phycologist dedicated to helping children with problems. He was shot a few years ago by a patient gone mad, Then his wife left him. Theres somthing a bit not quite right about this guy......................
Cole(Haley Jole Osmonde (Is that right???)): Cole is the lead role in the film, Hes an eight year old boy whom gets help from Malcom. This boy is not quite like any other boy, He gets bullied at school and has an obseesion with church figurines. Something very very scary gets revieled about him later on.
Coles Mom: Coles mom is a struggling single parent who's husband divorced her ages ago. Her Mom has died and she left to bring up Cole on her own. She knows theres something wrong with Cole she just doesn't kno wht.
The plot (WARNING COULD SPOIL VIEWING IF YOU READ ON) ========
The film starts out with malcom and his wife celerbrating an award that was given to malcom as an award for good work and helping childeren. Soon it is revieled that someone has broken into there house and is stood in their bath roomlooking strangely sinister. Soon his comes out with some pretty freaky stuff when malcom realises that it is one of his old patients, before getting shot.
Afew years later Malcom is seen sitting outside a church studying Cole as he runs into the church. He soon joins him and tries to help him with his problem. For the first 40 minutes of the film is quite normal until Cole is looked in a closet at a freinds house. You hear Cole screaming and crying before pssing out inside this closet. Then at Hospital He tells Malcom that hes sees ghosts. Here on in is one of the scariest, jumpiest films that i have ever seen. Malcom refuses to accept this until hes in his office studying a past patients interview where he had a similar case. Then he realises that Cole spoeaks the truth and tries to help him
My opinion ---------------------
This film is great. It has a great story line and the brilliance of the directing really shows. The film script is very very clever and after you've heard rumors of hints throughout the film you'll be running back through it to watch it again finding hidden clues about the films ending.
The film contains some outstanding performances from Cole, Noone ever knew that an eight year old was capable of such outstanding actng. He puts across his emotion as if it was real. Bruce Willis plays his role superbly, it definaltey makes a chnge to pumping people full of lead.
The lighting a speacial effects in this film really stand out. This film has a sense of freakiness to it, and it bulids up the atmosphere superbly, this will definatley have you on the edge of your seat.
If your looking for a great scary film that will have you and your friends shaking then definaltley watch this. If your a great fan of good old Bruce then this is for you.
