The Simpson's is a well loved comedy series that has been around for a long time and now (well it's been out for a long time) the forth series is out on DVD. I think that everyone in the world has heard of the Simpson's its amazing and something that the whole family will like and now I am reviewing the forth series I hope it will be a pleasant read;

Kamp Krusty - This is the episode where Bart and Lisa go to Kamp Krusty but when Krusty turns out not to be there Bart takes action into his own hands and things get a little bit nasty. A Streetcar named Marge - Marge finally decides to get out of the house and join a play called 'A streetcar named desire' she takes a while to get the acting into gear but she does that thanks to the annoyment of Homer and he eventually finds out the deeper meaning of the play this is also the one where Maggie has to escape from the nursery. Homer the heretic - One of my most favorite episodes in all of the Simpson's that was ever made it's the one where Homer doesn't go to church, God decides to take action on this, does he stay alive whilst his house is burning down around him, then you'll have to buy it or watch it to find out. Lisa the beauty queen - Homer wins his trip in the duff blimp and Lisa thinks she's horrible, she is entered in the little miss Springfield competition and when she gets it she takes a stand against child's smoking does she succeed? Treehouse of horror iii - This is one of the Halloween episodes where the Krusty the clown that Bart gets for his birthday is cursed and Homer turns into King Kong im not a big fan of these types of shows but some other people may.. Itchy and Scratchy the movie - In this episode Bart has behaved mischievously in school and the parents take an action they don't allow him to go to the new Itchy and Scratchy movie but he really wants to go, and he will do anything to get there, will he go? Marge gets a job - The Simpson's place is falling over and they need more money to fix it and so Marge gets a job at the power plant with Homer but Mr. Burns has a crush on her how will Homer react to seeing his wife with his boss? New Kid on the block - Bart is a bad boy and has never been interested in any girls before until he gets a sudden urge when a new girl arrives in his block, but she eventually turns out to be his babysitter but she already has a boyfriend, Jimbo what will Bart do now? Mr. Plow - Homer starts a thriving Snowplowing business all things are going well, but Barney gets a bigger business going how will Homer react when Barney his best friend betrays him. Lisa's first word - In my opinion this is a bit of a boring episode all it is the family sit down and discuss the time when Lisa says her first word there is nothing to look forward to apart from what her actual first word is and to find that out You'll have to watch the episode. Homers Triple Bypass - Homer needs a bypass on his heart but the proper doctor is too expensive and he gets Nick (the cheapo one) does he make it through? You'll have to watch the episode. Marge Vs The Monorail - Mr. Burns is forced to pay a $3 million fine for illegally dumping toxic waste under trees in the park. Springfield gets to spend all the money and they decide to invest in a monorail the only one against this is Marge she goes to a lot of lengths to try and stop this, does she succeed? Selma's Choice - Selma's life is really down and she thinks that a baby can cure her loneliness is this the right decision you'll have to watch the episode. The extras on this episode are commentary with the Creator and producer of the episode this also has a scene selection feature.

Brother from the same planet - After Homer leaves Bart outside in the rain after soccer practice Bart can't take anymore of his Dad and signs himself up for a new Dad to get revenge on Homer. He gets a new Dad who is a lot cooler but Homer says a long speech to Bart to try and convince him. Does his speech work? You'll have to watch the episode. I Love Lisa - Ralph is given a valentines day card off Lisa because he didn't get one, Ralph misinterprets this gesture and takes Lisa out to Krusty's latest and greatest show, he advances on Lisa but she shouts and embarrasses him on national television. This is one of the funniest episode's ever I think. The extras on this episode are commentary with the Creator and producer of the episode this also has a scene selection feature.

Duffless - Lisa does a secret science experiment to see who is smarter Bart or a hamster, but as this is going on Bart finds out enough and decides to go for the science fair himself who will win between Bart and Lisa, well im afraid you'll have to watch the episode. Last exit to Springfield - Homer finds himself filling in for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant's union leader when it comes time to negotiate their new contract with Mr. Burns. Homer is a tough negotiator, despite not knowing the first thing about union organizing, and forces Burns to accept the union's demands on the condition that Homer be removed as leader. So it's come to this (A Simpson clip) - Bart's explosive April fool prank backfires on his Dad and he ends up in hospital in a coma, his whole life flashes before him and that's all the episode is, flashbacks. The Front - Bart And Lisa think that they can writer better Itchy and Scratchy scripts but when they send it in they get rejected because they are kids and so they out Grandpa's name on it, Abraham Simpson, and then their episodes become reality. Whacking Day - A tradition in Springfield is whacking day, this is where everyone gets a stick and whacks all the snakes, Lisa, thinks its violent and welcomes all the snakes into her house how will the rest of Springfield react to this? Marge in chains - Marge gets thrown in prison after stealing at the Kwik - E - Mart, as you can probably gather the house gets into chaos this is quite a funny episode and one of my favorites on this series. Krusty gets Kancelled - The famous Krusty the clown loses TV watchers to a little puppet on the next channel, this gets a rival up and eventually Krusty gets cancelled, Bart and Lisa see what they can do about it. *-*-* Everything Else *-*-*

As you can see from my descriptions there are a few very awesome episodes in this series but also a few rubbishy ones and I have pointed them out, if I added my opinion to all of them most of them would be excellent and that would get a bit boring. The running time for all this is a phenomenal 7 hours!! Yeah 7 hours of the Simpson's, I bought this in the sales for 17 quid and from the episodes you get and the 4 disks that is an amazing price. The certificate is PG and so really anyone can watch it; there are a few sex references though.

Well this is all I have to say about this it's a totally amazing box set and I would recommend it to anyone.
