In 2005 I would buy this series 1 simpsons from the shop W.h.smith. I buy it for 16 pounds. I was a young person shopping in Uxbridge, running for the greatest DVDs and I saw this one on the shelf to just look like a small family who are made of yellow skin. Aswell as the yellow skin there is another funny appearance that is on this 3 disc set. I won't tell you the funny appearance but I will tell you that the other day I largely watched the simpsons in a certain silly way for a lot of the episodes. .. the audio commentary... no, no , no, that is not any fun to listen to.
I enjoyed all of the shows on series 1 :

1. Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire- In the first episode you see how Homer manages to save Christmas with no money to spend, Bart gets a tattoo, Homer goes to the Santa claus school.
2. Bart the Genius - Bart cheats on the IQ test and is sent to a school for geniuses. The one where the whole family goes to the opera and Homer and the kids misbehave themself.
3. Homer's Odyssey - After losing his job and trying to commit suicide, Homer decides to make Springfield a safer place. In the end Homer crowddives from the nuclear powerplant.
4. There's No Disgrace Like Home - Homer wants to have a normal family and seeks help at Dr Monroe. But can shock therapy help this family...?
5. Bart the General - After years of being bullied by Nelson, Bart and the other school kids decide to fight back with the help of Grandpa and one armed Herman.
6. Moaning Lisa - Lisa gets sent home from school with a terrible case of the blues. One night she meets Bleeding Gums Murphy on the bridge, who teaches her how to express her feelings through music. Lisa writes a song for Bleeding Gums, who plays it at his club.
7. Call of the Simpsons - Homer buys an RV and takes the family camping. Accidentally driving it off the edge of a cliff, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are trapped in the woods and must fend for themselves. Homer is mistaken for Bigfoot and eventually captured by hunters.
8. The Telltale Head - Bart tries to impress Jimbo Jones and his friends by stealing the head of the Jebediah Springfield statue in the town square. The townspeople are devastated by his act of vandalism and only Homer can help him return the head to its shoulders and fend off the angry mob.
9. Life on the Fast Lane - Homer buys Marge a bowling ball for her birthday, prompting her to take up bowling lessons with a French bowling instructor named Jacques. As her game improves, Marge and Jacques grow closer and closer until they're spending every night of the week at the bowling alley and sharing brunch.
10. Homer's Night Out - Using his toy spy camera, Bart captures Homer drunk and dancing with a belly-dancer named Princess Kashmir. When he gets the photo developed, it is distributed all over town, ruining Homers reputation and nearly wrecking his marriage to Marge.
11. The Crepes of Wrath - Bart is sent to France as a foreign exchange student and is forced to live with two slave-driving French winemakers. In his place, the Simpson family takes in Adil, a student from Albania, who's actually a spy stealing the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant's secrets. Bart escapes his tormentors' vineyard and manages to speak enough French to tell the authorities. He returns home a national hero.
12. Krusty gets busted - With the help of eyewitness Homer Simpson, Krusty the Clown gets busted for robbing the Kwik-E-Mart. Convinced that his hero is wrongly accused, Bart, with Lisa's help, examines the clues and case and determines that Krusty was framed by his bitter sidekick, Sideshow Bob.
13. Some enchanted evening - Homer and Marge go out for a much-needed romantic dinner and leave Bart, Lisa and Maggie with a babysitter named Ms. Botz. Bart becomes convinced that Ms. Botz is actually the Babysitter Bandit, a wanted criminal he saw on America's Most Wanted Armed and Dangerous. Bart turns out to be correct and when Ms. Botz ties him and Lisa up and attempts to rob the house, only Maggie can save them.

I must mention the machine I played the DVD on - my hooging fantastic DVD player with wheat and straw trapped perfectly on the side. I enjoyed the series for a number of reasons. one of these is the episodes have lasted years and years. The second reason was the simpsons appeared to become a family fit for the use of a TV show, they are made completely of American, but also it is possible to think of america to be a country completely without the simpsons itself as I have never been to America. I watch the 3 discs many times and stare like a stick at the artwork on the DVD box the edges of the DVD set look like dongles since the box is much larger than my other DVD boxes. The simpson family, is the most watched cartoon family and as it is the longest running animation it always gets fans from all over the world. Do you know any of the simpsons family, have you not even seen Bart, Homer, Maggie, Lisa, Marge. I know more than that as I precisely remember Mr. Burns, krusty clown, and the grandpa.

It is thus the first DVD series that will show you how different the simpsons characters appeared once at the beginning It is a long time that it is, for the biggest fans must now consider buying the whole 17+ series. That would be like buying a complete TV show of the complete 300+ episodes. To buy all that would be like a revolting massive shop in your home. I must thus speak to you in this review about only buying the series 1 to begin and then piling the other series 2, 3, 4, 5 if you wish to. I will not be familiar with buying many things in my life but a sample for this years buys will be series 1, the simpons pyjamas, the simpsons cup. I had no wish to keep seeing my home has taken force with a cartoon. The Simpsons show has no idea what it makes. It is just a show that I entirely buy on disc put the discs in my hooging fantastic DVD player more than 50 times.

It is thus with this review that you will make an agreement with me to go and buy the simpsons first series, I examine you to be a simpsons fan of crucial importance. I think you take the show with your eyes and appreciate it for its excellent characters and for its lightnings of animation. The creator of the simpsons Matt Groening is a like a henchmate of American cartoons, a henchmate of TV, he is the inventor of simpson DVD, clothes, mugs, comics and more. Since he done all this Matt Groening is still drawing the simpsons all the time. Very recently I had become like robbers ray and I decided to grease my reflective ears to hear a range of simpsons phrases ....

D'oh
Don't have a cow, man!
Eat my shorts!
Oh hello, Mr.Homer!
Excellent
Simpson, eh?

I am certain Matt Groening who is a very young man was the first man to draw the simpsons and everyone in the world mentioned at the end of the show "who are those people whose functions are unknown during the end of an episode" through I can understand, exactly why it is Fox who takes the fullness of the money, and after 16 years on the TV, even a most intelligent person will appreciate the cartoon and several old grandmothers, grandfathers might show up rapidly shouting his or her simpsons phrases demanding a simpsons show. I know the show can be everywhere at the same time but so can the trees and the roads they are the best of character. I have to say that tree and that road as I live very close.

Aswell as the 13 episodes there are scripts, deleted scenes, a short from The Tracy Ullman Show and commentaries on all episodes.
