[BABF06]- Faith Off Original Air Date: 16-Jan-2000 Written By: Frank Mula Directed By: Nancy Kruse Special Guest: Don Cheadle Story Line: Homer gets a bucket stuck on his head, so the family visit a faith healer, who is able to get Bart to pull the bucket off Homer's head, inspiring Bart to start his own faith healing show because he thinks he has the power! My Opinion: Really funny episode with some memorable songs. Weird seeing Milhouse without glasses!
[4F03] - The Homer They Fall Original Air Date: 10 Nov 96 Written By: Jonathan Collier Directed By: Mark Kirkland Special Guest: Michael Buffer and Paul Winfield Story Line: When Dr Hibbert finds that Homer has an unusually thick skull, Moe decides that Homer should become a boxer. Then Dreaderick Tatum gets out of jail and Homer becomes his World Heavyweight opponent, much to Marge's alarm. My Opinion: Excellent boxing based episode, it's aimed at making fun at Mike Tyson. Who would have thought that Moe was once a boxer and his office is in the ladies toilets in his tavern because it's never been used by a female! Really good story line.
[2F05] - Lisa on Ice Original Air Date: 13 Nov 94 Written By: Mike Scully Directed By: Bob Anderson Story Line: Lisa makes an excellent hockey goalie and the competition between Bart and Lisa heats up when they have to play each other. My Opinion: This is an episode that I have seen loads of times, and is enjoyable. It's the classic brother versus sister scenario, but their love for each other shows at the end. It's funny to see Homer play his children against each other, isn't he a good father!
[7F05] - Dancin' Homer Original Air Date: 8 Nov 90 Written By: Ken Levine and David Isaacs Directed By: Mark Kirkland Special Guests: Tony Bennett and Tom Poston Story Line: Homer becomes a team mascot for the local Springfield team. Homer makes it into the Majors. My Opinion: One of the earlier episodes from the Simpsons series, the animation isn't as good as later ones but an original story line is there. The special guests are better known American celebrities.
Conclusion
These are four really good episodes and ones that are worth watching twice. The Dancin Homer episode is available on the second season DVD box set, so it might be worthwhile paying a little bit more and having more episodes to watch. The other episodes are from later season and won't be released on DVD box sets for a while. These are enjoyable episodes and they have been on television, but when I first got the video, I hadn't seen Faith Off (Faith Off is a title based on a film called Face Off).
DVD is always better than videos (quality of picture etc), but it's good if your looking to be entertained or wanting to add to your collection of Simpsons videos.
This is one for Simpson's fans and you can buy video collections cheap from all sorts of sources, it pays to look around if you are serious about purchasing this item. Buy It!
The Simpsons - Classics - On Your Marks, Get Set, D'Oh is a compilation of four episode episodes from "The Simpsons", all with some sort of sporting theme. The four episodes included are "Faith Off", "The Homer They Fall", "Lisa On Ice" and "Dancin' Homer".
In "Faith Off", Bart becomes a faith healer after he gets a bucket off Homer's head that got stuck there. Meanwhile, Homer's Springfield University gets ready for their football game against ... ...the Bart storyline, which is not very eventful. An average episode really, which is still better than most of what's on TV.
In "The Homer They Fall", Homer becomes a professional boxer after he gets pummeled at Moe's, who realises that he doesn't get knocked down. Homer goes all the way to a championship match in a huge stadium against Dredrick Tatum, obviously modeled after Mike Tyson. Some funny moments here (Homer coming out in the championship ...

Advantages: 4 good episodes and a really funny song Disadvantages: Its VHS what do you expect?
...came out to coincide with the 2000 Summer Olympics and it was a really fun filled video! As usual with non-whole season Simpsons videos there are 4 episodes.
"Faith Off" is one of the better offering from the latest seasons where Bart thinks he is a faith healer.
"The Homer They Fall" Homer becomes a boxer when he gets punched in the head.
"Lisa on Ice" In one of the greatest episodes ever, Lisa and Bart join seperate hockey teams and are quite ... ..."Dancin' Homer" Homer becomes the mascot for his local Baseball team and is soon moved to Capitol City.
These 4 episodes are some of the best ever, with non stop jokes and great character development for Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and even Maggie as she saves her fathers life (although this good deed does go unnoticed!!)
At the time of its release, the video came witha leaflet which offered people the chance to send off for a limited edition pewter ...
