The Simple Life 3: Interns first aired in January 2005. This time around there are no camper vans, no money and no mobile phones. The girls are given tickets for a Greyhound coach which they will have to travel across the country in with members of the public and meet the families they will be staying with. This makes for some great Greyhound coach scenes with the public including Nicole asking a lady if her son has a large penis otherwise she's not interested and Paris taking a baby into her arms, only for it to start screaming and wailing as soon as she holds it. Whilst staying with families the girls have to enroll themselves for different jobs which is the main feature of the show. Some of the jobs they have to do include:
---Mechanics--- This episode includes the girls turning up an hour and a half late, asking if the outfits for work come in Pink, taking off in a police car which they are suppose to be cleaning to buy some nail-polish for their boss and crashing a customers car into anothers. Their Pakistani boss makes the episode with his comments including 'I can't take anymore of these girls!' whilst pulling his hair out!
---Home Workers--- This episode includes the girls working in an old peoples home where they teach the old people how to disco dance, ask them what they think of each other and put on a fashion show for the residents who model the clothes for their families. It's got some great moments including Paris getting kissed on the mouth by an 80 year old resident who then keeps touching her inapropriately throughout the episode!
---Office Workers--- This episode includes the girls working for a large firm where they go on to photocopy their body parts, handing them out to staff, mixing up everyones mail cos they cn't be arsed to sort it properly including them shoving some of it into the fridge, ordering food for the staff but then half eating it all before they get back to the office. It has some hilarious moments including Nicole trying to get the boss a table at a posh restaurant where she tells the restaurant owner on the phone that her boss is going to jail and wants his last meal to be at their restaurant and telling them that he'll do a strip tease for the restaurant if they give him a table!
---Funeral Parlour workers--- This episode shows the girls working at a funeral parlour which includes them given the job of driving a coffin with someone inside but then making a pitstop at starbucks and disco dancing to Lionel Richie's music in the car. They get into more trouble when Nicole knocks over an urn full of ashes which she then goes onto clean up using an hoover!
These are just some of the episodes you can find on the DVD and I can guarantee that the others are just as entertaining. What also makes this show is the families the girls stay with including one family who have recently lost their dog. Feeling bad, Paris orders two great danes for them but then leaves them with the bill which they don't get until after the girls leave. But there are also touching moments in the series where the girls go to meet a family where the parents both smoke. Paris and Nicole, being worried for their health, buy them nicotine patches and gum to help them quit because, as Nicole quotes, 'I don't want you to die.'
Overall it's a great series, probably my favourite. The girls always look perfect which can make you quite jealous at times and always get to do whatever they want which i sometimes wish i could do making me even more jealous. However, it's still great entertainment which will cheer you up if your bored or feeling down in the dumps. Even if you don't like Paris or Nicole you won't be able to stop yourself giggling at their antics. They are perfect together and really make the show what it is and after watching it you'll see that they're (Paris & Nicole) good people despite all the bad press that they get. I love it.
* dVD & EXTRAs *
The DVD comes in a 2 DISC release as there's over 5 hours (16 epsiodes) of TV to get through. The first disc includes episodes 1 - 8 and the second disc includes episodes 9 - 16. The picture is sharp, clear and bright making for great, vibrant viewing and the audio quality is spot on with all sounds being clear and sharp enhancing your viewing enjoyment. It also has english subtitles for the hard of hearing. The only let down is that there are no extra's for the set but that is only a minor let down as the show is just incredibly enjoyable in it's own right and you can watch it a good many times before tiring of it. The certificate for the DVD is 12 meaning that it contains mild sex references and bleeped language so it's not too bad...

If you are easilly offended then this is a show i suggest you don't watch as you won't enjoy it! But for the rest of us it's just pure entertainment. I have to admit that before i ever saw this show i hated Paris Hilton for no particular reason but now have come to like her after watching. It just makes me laugh so much! I was laughing just writing it down on this review, picturing it in my head! If i could swap lives with these two i'd do it in a second. People say that money isn't everything but I don't care...I want lots of it without doing ANY WORK whatsoever and do whatever i please whenever i please! So if like me you feel the same then this show is DEFINATELY for you, enjoy!
Advantages: Now with added comedy at the end, 'Demi Moore would date a baby' Disadvantages: They are portrayed less cold hearted this season, meaning less jokes
