I had read the book and wanted to see if the film was close to it,it wasn't.In the book wendy is a strong woman in the film she is so weak it is anoying. The story line is very close to the book and it would have been a great film had they not ruined it with the wrong protral of the characters. It isn't a very scary film more werid than scary and I found I could not keep my eyes on the screen.I am glad that I watched it as it is now a cult classic, but wished it had been more close to the books characters. The boy Danny was not given enough lines for us to get to know him well and he was a main character in the book.

I have to agree with you, although the film was entertaining I found the mini series that was made of this was more in tune with the book.Ypu need a lot more information here if you want top ratings.Let me know if you add anymore...Mandxx

Have to agree with you. All of his films are a let down as the books are so good. To get a higher rating though, you must add more details to your ops. If you do update then leave me a message and I will gladly re-read/re-rate.
