I just finished watching this in bed with my fiance and thought i would see if it was on CIAO.
Well i have seen it before but didnt quite remember it. WHAT A FILM.!!!!

Starring..........

Demi Moore ... Abby Quinn

Michael Biehn ... Russell Quinn

Jürgen Prochnow ... David Bannon

Peter Friedman ... Father Lucci

Imagine that you are 8 months pregnant with your 2nd child, after having a still born with your 1st, and when all seems to go well and your just a few weeks shy of that little bundle of joy coming, The lamb of God, (Gods messenger) turns up on your doorstep claiming that your unborn baby is the seventh sign of the apocalypse and your babywill be born dead, without a soul, and the world shall come to an end on his arrival.........

Doesnt sound like a good day, does it..?

Well that is what happened to "Abby". A man turns up on her door applying to rent her garage/room from her and befriends her. Abbys husband Russell is a lawyer and is busy trying to overturn the Govenors desition to Execute his client (Gas chamber). The client is a young lad who murdered his mother and father as they were actually brother and sister, In the bible it says you cant get punished for punishing the evil/guilty. so in the lords eyes he did no wrong (according to this lad). What he doesnt know is that he is the 5th sign of the Apocalypse, which is - the murder of a marter.

While Abby is going about her day to day business she is growing more and more weary of this gentleman living in her garage and decides to snoop around. While in there she finds some old biblical texts and documents, that she later gets decoded and translated for her, telling of the Apocalyse and mentioning all the signs and the significance of Abbys baby, due to be born on the 29th Feb (leap year)

Abby then has a confrontation with the genleman who she befriended and finds out he is actually Gods son and is sent to deliver the seven signs of the Apocalyse, doubting him firstly, but then assures herself it is him when she puts a knife through his chest and the great white light appears from his open wound.

Abby is on a mission to stop one of the sign and save her unborn child and save the world from The end of days, The Apocalypse is happening all around her and time is running out.

To make matters worse Abby bumps in to a priest who tells her he knows what is happening and wants to help her. But he is not trying to help her and is more than just a priest from the vatican...
The priest turns out to be Cartifilis - Pilots Gate keeper from 2000 years ago, who struck a man 2000 years ago and was cursed by God to walk the earth until the Lord had returned. Yes, you guessed it. The man he struck as the son of God, Jesus......

Cartifilis wants the Apocalypse to happen as he has had to walk the earth for nearly 2000 years and cant die unless the Lord returns.

Will Cartifilis succed.............?

Will Abby stop one of the signs from happening.............?

Will The Messenger from God Bring the seventh sign and set it upon the earth.............?

Well if you want to know the end, then i suggest you get The Seventh Sign........ sorry but im not ruining it for you.

This film is Brilliant, i love films like this, The End of Days - The Seventh Sign - Stigmata etc etc.....
They actually feel like it could happen and the acting and writting for this film is Fantastic... I really loved watching this film and i cant wait to watch it again....

10 / 10 from me.......... utter Brilliant.!!!!!!!!!

Ohhhhhh
Heres a little bit of extra info for you

During this film Demi Moore is not wearing a fake bump, she was actually pregnant....... Just thought you might like to know that..

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
