Well i'm almost 20, tall, blonde, work in and office but its slow at the moment so i thought i'd give review writing another go. Sure i used to make more money on here though... 6p for something which took an hour and a half to write is depressing.

What the can I say about this film that hasn't been said before? Nothing really but hell, its so good I'm gonna say it all again!!
My first thoughts were "Horror? No thanks" and I really wasn't going to watch it. Then I was told that it was a musical and thought "God no. I hated 'The sound of music' and every other musical I've ever seen".
So what makes this musical different from all the other muscials I've seen. The songs are fantastic and have some relevance to the film thats what!! 'The hills are alive with the sound of music'. What the hell was that all about? But with Rockcy horror all of the songs are great, and fit in with the film.
This film is so good that I have lost count of the amount of times I've watched it. And I've even had Rocky Horror show themed sleepovers. It just brings people together and its guaranteed to make you sing and dance along.
And the actors. Oh they're so fab. Susan Sarandon is now well known as a dramatic actress, not as a comedy figure. And Tim Curry. Played 'Hook' right? You wouldn't really imagine him as a bisexual, transvestite alien would you? Well in this he is!! Add Richard o' Brien (you know, the one off crystal maze) and a load of other fantastic but less known actors and actresses (oh yeah, and Meatloaf is in it too) and you get a fantastic cast.
So lets have a little rundown of the film anyway.
It opens on these huge red lips singing a fab song. The first and one of the best songs of the film.Anyway, you have Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon). They go to their friends wedding. Janet catches the bouquet, Brad proposes, cue slushy song. Hilarious and irritatingly catchy but slushy. Anyway, they leave to go home (? I think they're going home. I've not seen it for a while), big storms, they get lost, tyre on car goes flat. So they get out to find help and end up at the castle of Dr. Frank-n-Furter. The door to the castle is opened by Frank's faithful butler, Riff Raff (Richard o' Brian). He invites them in, makes them nervous. Cue classic party song, the Time Warp. Lots of dancing, you end up joining in (I can nearly guarantee it). Then Frank comes down from his lab. And here comes the best song in the film. Its absolubtly hilarious. It is Sweet Transvestite. Then we have lots of sex, fantastic songs, and Franks new creation (Rocky) taking us up to the end. But I'm not going to tell you what happens in between because, to be honest, there is no way I can do it justice with a description.
So all in all, the only things to be said are that this film is a timeless classic, much loved by people young and old accross the globe, brings people together to forget their troubles and just party. When this film is on no-one can argue, no one can be unhappy, everyone just sings, dances and is merry!!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is an erotic nightmare beyond any measure. Relive Richard ... more
O'Brien's sinfully twisted salute to horror, sci-fi, B-movies and rock music starring Tim Curry (in his classic gender-bending performance), Barry Bostwick and Osca...
Advantages: Sing-a-long ability, sexy outfits, Tim Rice in fishnets Disadvantages: Not always having the rice, newpapers and waterguns on hand for audience participation
Advantages: MeatLoaf, the Time Warp, and as close to being at the theatre as you can be at home Disadvantages: It's Rocky, What disadvantages could there be??
