My partner bought teh 25th anniversary video of the RHPS, which we love and have been to see many times.
We watched the film, which was as good as ever, about a betrothed young couple off to find their old science teacher - they break down and end up knocking on the door of a big, old gothic mansion to ask for help. They become involved in the goings on there, and end up having a night "a night they would remember for a very long time indeed".
The video however, promises a cut scene at the end, which you get, and it's obvious why they cut it out of the film as it's quite dreary.
It also promises out-takes - I was disappointed as I was expecting to be rolling about laughing, however it seems they keep the sound track of the actual film while playing the out take pictures, it doesn't make sense, like the bedroom scenes, you want to know what they were saying on the out-take as it would be funnier but you get the actual film words.
If you are a Rocky fan you'll probably buy it anyway but don't expect too much. The main thing we were doing in the out-takes was looking at the mansion behind them, as we had visited it earlier in the year and were trying to spot bits we'd seen.
The mansion where it is filmed is now a hotel in Windsor, Berkshire called Oakley Court (I have an op on it too) The hotel is well worth a visit if you are a Rocky fan, as you can see many of the features and places in the film!
