...maybe it is because I love all the movie of barbie, but I found this DVD fantastic! it is about 1 and 15 minutes of colors, magic and stars. for those who love faires and for all little girls, this animated movies will bring you to the wings of fantasy and to magic worlds. I like the plot because it is about friendship and how important is working togheter to reach our dream. the final part is very beautiful with music and colors. The little friend Bibble is adorable and all the faires have wings and clothes full of colors. I would suggest to buy this DVD , it is beautiful for children and adults and give you 1 hour where you can dream to be a fairy too....

Advantages: Interesting fact based horror. Disadvantages: Very slow start
...Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street) directs this terrifying story of one man's nightmarish journey into the eerie and deadly world of voodoo. Bill Pullman (Spaceballs, Independence Day) stars as a Harvard anthropologist who is sent to Haiti to retrieve a strange powder that is said to have the ability to turn people into zombies. In his quest for the drug the cynical scientist enters the rarely seen netherworld of the walking dead, blood rites and ancient curses.
Not your typical zombie movie, "The Serpent and the Rainbow" features "Real-life" zombies, who aren't your average brain craving, flesh-eaters, but are instead human vegetables under the influence of drugs. This may sound a little boring…and it is, but its not all that bad…Ok so it is.
One tiny quibble that I have is that director Wes Craven seems to be more interested...

Advantages: Cute and good moral teachings for youngsters Disadvantages: Won't appeal as widly to boys
...As a now 21 year old Rainbow Brite brings back lovely memories of my youth.
The story of a young girl who finds a rainbow belt, and with it can bring colour to the world.
Characters include starlight, the white horse companion of rainbow, who using the rainbiow belt can ride on rainbows helping get from A to B a lot quicker! He is both charming and brave as a character, and even now I find myself wishing I owned him!
Bad guys with names to suit such as lurky and Murky. Who bring a bit of extra humour to the show.
All the adventures are easy to follow with a good moral message behind all, good always prevails and friendship and kindness are dipicted with the rainbow as its symbol. These short heartwarming stories apear timeless as many small children in my family still watch them thanks to it being released on DVD.
I would recommend...

Advantages: Good Childhood Memorys Disadvantages: Starting To Show My Age
...Rated = U
Running Time = 1 Hour 48 Minutes
Rainbow Brite is a blast from the past for me it makes me feel really old and so when I saw it sitting on the shelf at my local post office I had to buy it for my daughter or maybe a little for me as well.
I started to think back to my young child hood when I used love watching this along with many other things for that age group.
Then I started to wonder am I really getting that old am i?
The price wasn't bad I paid £2.99 for it and it contains five short programs on it
There's also a second DVD which is Rainbow Brite Volume 2, the post office had ran out of Volume 2 so I couldn't buy it so I just bought the first one.
Beginning of Rainbow land Part 1 and Part 2
