...The Pursuit of Happyness is a DVD which I bought 3 weeks ago and have not got round to watching yet. Last night I decided I was going to sit and watch this when the kids were in bed and I am so glad that I did. THE PLOT The film is based on a true story. It is set in 1981, a great years as I was born!!!, and it stars Will Smith who plays the character of Chris Gardner. Chris Gardner is a salesman who has put his life savings into buying bone density scanners which he hopes to sell and make a very big profit on. He has worked out that he only has to sell one a month to pay the rent and child care costs and another one a month to buy the groceries.
