...This is a great book that gives a great insight into the life of Derek Acorah and the world of Spirit. Starting off in his childhood days, taking us through his time as a footballer at Liverpool FC and bringing us up to his adventures in Most Haunted this really is a compelling read. This book describes Dereks experiences with the departed and how he came to be the UK's most famous medium. The book also tells about his companion Sam who speaks to him from the world of Spirit and how they first met. The only downside is that because there are so many stories to be told each one is just a brief explanation of what happened when he visited people and places. Well recommended book, easy to read, I simply could not put it down.... Read review

...This book really opened my eyes to clairvoyancy. It really made me think of how I can change my life to bring out the best of it! I read it in a few days and often refer back to it! Definitely worth buying. Derek shares his clairvoyancy and it is truly compelling as a believer or not! He often refers to Sam in his book. He shares the funny stories, the happy stories and the sad stories. His experiences are really interesting, you just can't put it down! I have recommended this book to others, each have said how different it made them feel. You really feel you are entering Derek's world!! Even as a non believer you will find this book riveting, I promise!!... Read review

...spiritual experiences so far. The other half was a whirlwind attempt at teaching you the basics of psychic development. This half of the book seemed quite rushed to me like the number of pages had been limited or something. It does teach you the basics of Meditation, Protection, opening your Third Eye, tuning in to other people, Psychometry, Telepathy, How to foretell your own future, Mediumship, The Psychic World, Reincarnation and Divination in the space of 87 pages. This is great for those who would like an introduction to Spiritualism in something bite sized and manageable. The text size was easy to read as was the main structure of the book, it wasn't a hard read. It was enjoyable and not too taxing on the brain either.
