Fairytale story of poor to princess, every girls dream, also good comedy value

The first movie begins very well, showing a young girl who wishes to have it all, as usual. The story line is somewhat let down by her never knowing her father or that he was a prince and has recently died meaning that she was next in line to the throne of Genovia. This is of course slightly far fetched for us adults but they had to get her to turn into a princess some how and i'm sure children would love the idea, and will soon be asking if they were by any chance adopted! The comical story line in actually trying to get her to behave like a princess is sweetly thrilling. In this film the young girl (Mia) goes through it all, heart ache, falling out with her best friends, falling out and reuniting with her mother and attempting to become a princess. There was a lovley feel good factor to this film and one of my most favourite cinderella stories.
