I'd just ike to start by saying that this movie is definately not for everyone. I would say it is more aimed at younger people...children. Aimed for that audience, it is a good movie.
The sequel to The Princess Diaries begins with Princess Mia graduating college and moving back to Genovia, where she is to soon take over her grandmothers place as queen.
However, Mia soon finds out that an old Genovian law states a queen must be married to assume the throne.
Thanks to her grandmother, Mia is then given 30 days to find a husband and get married, or she must forfeit the throne to Lord Nicholas, the next in line.
Mia, not wanting to give up her dream of becoming queen, then searches through a list of possibilities (with the help of her friend Lilly) to be her husband when she comes across an Englishman by the name of Andrew Jacoby and agrees to an arranged marriage with him.
Although Andrew is nice enough, Mia just isn't in love with him and neither is he with her.
Problems arise when Mia begins to fall in love with Nicholas, whose uncle is set on having him become king and is trying to ruin everything for Mia.
But will Mia be able to go through with the arranged marriage?
You will have to watch to find out.
