So i asked for the box set for my birthday and so it arrived!
I wont bore you going in to details of all of the films but what i can say is Peter Sellers is a genius in his portrail of Inspector clouseau.
His ability to invoke laughter, use of language, props and his accent is up there with the best of all time.
Also it comes with the final Pink Panther which was filmed after Peter Sellers died and was made ... ...but its probably one of the best of the lot. Personally i didnt find the first Pink Panther to interesting because the characters were trying to find their feet.
One final note has to go to Cato, expect him to attack when ever and where ever.

Advantages: Good slapstick comedy - a bomb (imagine saying in French/French English) Disadvantages: Should have had titles of films on DVD's
...box set featuring The Pink Panther, A Shot In The Dark, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Trail of the Pink Panther and 3 hours of special features. Casting Sellers, as Inspector Clouseau was stroke of genius from the casting director. He is almost Frank Spencer like in solving crimes and catching criminals - it is slapstick comedy at its best. He drives his boss to madness, where ever he goes there is sure to be mayhem - even when he goes home, his ... ...the limit. There are six DVD's in total, the thing I don't like is there are D numbers on each DVD i.e D1 + D2 + D3 as opposed to the title of the film which is confusing until you have watched each DVD. A worthwhile purchase for any Pink Panther fan. ...

Advantages: EXTRAS, ALL THE FILMS ARE THERE Disadvantages: NONE
...now, it has everything, all the films a nice load of extras and comes packaged really nicely. The films are all really good and some of which you will remember from being shown around christmas on tv. The price is very cheap and very reasonable value for money. There are no real special effects due to the age of the films in question. Dont watch the modern versions of the pink panther film stick to the original as peter sellers is a master. Please ...

Advantages: A good Comdey Disadvantages: Can seem to last a bit to long
When I thought of the Pink Panther, I did not actually think of these films, I honestly thought of the little cartoon based on the films which are also featured in this DVD boxset, the films themselves are classics and are decent in their own right. The first 2 films in the set are the best of the lot, while the rest of them just seem to be a bit long winded and they start to loose a bit of the apeal.
They are still a great comedy to watch and I ... ...with a bit of time between them otherwise you can get a bit bored.
I was deffinatly glad that it included the wonderful cartoons that I remembered from my childhood, they were as brillent as I remebered and I probably would have bought a DVD with just them on. ...
