I enjoy watching films, and especially sitcoms, whether good or bad - it's all some kind of inspiration!

The huge Martial-Arts Action Star ‘Jet Li’, came kicking onto my screen last week when I rented out ‘The One’.
Jet Li has played both the goodie and the baddie in films in the past (Romeo Must Die (2000), Lethal Weapon 4 (1998), Once Upon a Time in China and America (1997), Black Mask (1996), High Risk (1995), Fist of Legend (1994), The Last Hero in China (1993), and many, many more), and in this film plays the role of both.
He plays the part (which was initially planned for The Rock, who opted instead to film The Mummy Returns) of the goodie ‘Gabriel Yulaw’; a police officer, and the baddie ‘Yulaw’.
Everyone is capable of good and evil, it just depends on what universe your in, to how much you should employ each!
Each individual has a depiction of him or herself in 125 different universes, which make up the Multiverse. Multiverse agent Yulaw, was assigned to monitor these universes, but he had to take-down one of the versions of himself in another universe, and discovered a great power by doing so. So, the options: stay how he is, or eliminate the other versions of himself in the alternate universes in order to gain more power, and become ‘The One’.
After one hundred and twenty three kills, a pair of inequitable Multiverse agents, Roedecker (Delroy Lindo) and Funsch (Jason Statham), are sent to stop Yulaw before it’s too late – and to try to bring him back alive.
But how do you stop a man who has acquired such great power, and is far stronger than most people – only with the one remaining version of himself whom also has acquired that great power.
Now it’s up to Gabe to save the world and defeat Yulaw. There is only one hitch. This has never been done before, and nobody knows what will happen if only ONE exists.
After seeing the Trailer for this movie, I expected much of a ‘Matrix’ style film – and I got it. However, maybe too much though. The Special FX are good, but they run through the movie too much. The movie is based on superhuman powers and abilities, but the fight scenes go a little over the top using the SFX.
