My essay is concerning the BlairWitchProject which I will call BWP along with that is it a horror or documentary and how it is filmed to look that way.
Well following I have watched this film at last I now identify that it is a horror however at primary impressions in the first 30 minutes it seems to be a documentary for the reason that of the technique it is designed out and filmed, it merely has two cameras which will provide you a hint that it is not efficiently filmed and is amateur video recording, you can largely find this out whilst they are interviewing the community and largely significantly in the forest. You will barely see two out of the three scholars usually since one of them are filming however in professionally complete movies or documentaries each and every one of the characters that be required to be there are ...
Advantages: Nice design and layout of the DVD, a wealth of extras Disadvantages: The film itself.....diabolically bad.....
The Exorcist DVD sits on my shelf, i watch it only during daylight hours and only then if it is really sunny and i expect to see friends later, hopefully not having time to dwell too much on what i have watched... to hear that the BlairWitchProject was the scariest film ever, well that was a pretty substantial claim that needed looking into. I came to the film long, long after all the hype had died down, and unusually for me watched it with a pretty open mind.
I resent the fact that i will never get those 70 or so minutes of my life back, what a poor piece of film this is. I was irritated within 5 minutes of it having started, to alienate your audience by having such annoyingly stupid characters is rather foolish if you ask me. I was rooting for the evil presence to despatch these idiots the minute they set foot in the woods ...
Advantages: New idea Disadvantages: No proper ending, but still not suitable for a sequel
Before I write my opinion I would like to emphasise my congratulations to the Director and promoter of the BlairWitchProject, as they took a crap film and by advertising made it seem like one of the best ever.
This film was definitely the main talk for a long time. Everyone loved until they watched it, then they hated it! The best way I found to describe this film is a long build up of tension resulting in little or no ending to speak of. I must admit when watching this film I felt a strange feeling that it is just about to get interesting but like when you are watching a cool movie and the electricity goes off, the good bit never arrives!!! If anyone has not seen this film then they are lucky and should keep their reputation by not putting themself in for a hour and something of total boredom! ...
