When the Town thrashed Arsenal
Review of FA Cup Final 1978 - Ipswich Town vs Arsenal DVD by  Simon68

Advantages: Football seen when you were allowed to tackle!
Disadvantages: That the Town didnt score more than one

...An absolute must have item for all Ipswich Town fans, even those of us who were lucky to be there anyway. This match shows a team that nobody really gave a chance to, came to the capital and ignoring all the big stars Arsenal had at the time, completely thrashed them 1-0. How it took so long for the goal to come will always be a mystery coupled with the good luck Arsenal had as Town hit the woodwork 3 times and the sheer goalkeeping brilliance of Pat Jennings in the Arsenal goal. Advantages: Read Opp
Disadvantages: Read Opp

...stand out points shown in this, included Geoffrey Boycott scoring his 100th, hundred score against Australia. From the 1970's it has to be said that the quality of television begins to improve in quality, and this DVD provides such evidence in terms of being able to watch cricket on a television. England win the series 5-1 though this is mainly down to the Australian team signing up to the World series event and unable to play against England. From a historical factual point of view, the details contained here make this really a most enjoyable sporting history film to watch. 1981 Ian Botham is shown scoring big totals with the bat, and Bob Willis taking some great wickets. Here a England or any cricketing fan can see Botham taking some marvellous wickets Botham almost managed to complete a hatrick of wickets in succession, narrowly... Read review
