...An absolute must have item for all IpswichTown fans, even those of us who were lucky to be there anyway. This match shows a team that nobody really gave a chance to, came to the capital and ignoring all the big stars Arsenal had at the time, completely thrashed them 1-0.
How it took so long for the goal to come will always be a mystery coupled with the good luck Arsenal had as Town hit the woodwork 3 times and the sheer goalkeeping brilliance of Pat Jennings in the Arsenal goal.
A day when the country cousins came to London and played the start of the style of football that was to propel them to UEFA Cup glory just 3 years later and be voted Adidas European Team of the Year in 1981....

Advantages: Hypnotic film with an understated yet compelling performance by Florence Carrez. Disadvantages: -

The film is presented in widescreen format. Picture is sharp, clean and clear, with readable subtitles (that occasionally have bits of their tops trimmed away).

...stand out points shown in this, included Geoffrey Boycott scoring his 100th, hundred score against Australia. From the 1970's it has to be said that the quality of television begins to improve in quality, and this DVD provides such evidence in terms of being able to watch cricket on a television. England win the series 5-1 though this is mainly down to the Australian team signing up to the World series event and unable to play against England. From a historical factual point of view, the details contained here make this really a most enjoyable sporting history film to watch.
1981 Ian Botham is shown scoring big totals with the bat, and Bob Willis taking some great wickets. Here a England or any cricketing fan can see Botham taking some marvellous wickets Botham almost managed to complete a hatrick of wickets in succession, narrowly...
