this is undeniably the single best chick-flick in the history of chick-flicks. all females should watch this film and i guarantee all males will be glad they took their girlfriends to watch this. every girl i know has cried during this movie and missed their boyfriends after watching it. :P it is the most romantic love story ever written. it is about an American boy and a girl who fall truly, madly, deeply in love and then share an utterly adorably and enviable relationship only to be torn apart. i won't spoil the rest of the story, but if you are a female YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST WATCH THIS FILM AT LEAST ONCE. I have seen it 4 times and have cried every time, the story is beautiful and the acting is convincing.
