Advantages: Great laughs throughout Disadvantages: ???
...I bought this dvd about 3 months ago on Ebay.
After loving his hit series 'PHOENIX NIGHTS',and watching 'Live at the Bolton AlbertHalls',about two years previously I knew he was a class act, with a unique comedy style of his own.
It wasnt up until just randomly coming across it on Ebay that I was reminded what a great and hilarious talent he is.
I payed only 0.99p for the dvd, which had been used previously, but had come in great condition.
Only yesterday,I saw it in HMV for 6 pounds, which is great value for such a great installment of laughs.
The DVD is called 'Peter Kay,Live at the Bolton AlbertHalls,as part of his 'Mum wants a Bungalow Tour'.
Bolton being his home town,it was bound to be a sell-out
It's filmed as part of his sell out ,180 date tour that spanned 9 months and was seen by 300,000 people.
Many people who are seen...

Advantages: You get to hear the original Supergroup reformed Disadvantages: The album shows what good music some of us missed played live.
...Eric Clapton is my favourite guitarist not only for his longevity but for the skill in his guitar playing. He with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker reform in 2005 for a series of Concerts initially at the RoyalAlbertHall but then going world wide for a tour.
I saw Eric Clapton with Blind Faith at one of the early free concerts in Hyde Park in the late sixties, I think june 1969, as a teenager so was quite upset that I missed the AlbertHall Concerts especially as one fell on my birthday 5th May 2007.
However I first recorded the concert from TV and then was bought the album and DVD the Christmas following it's release. The concert is magical. There are three 60 year old rockers who hadn't played all together in a band for forty years. Playing the songs as the did all those years ago. They play, in my own personal opinion, better than...

Advantages: Value for money, the amount of extras, great music Disadvantages: none that I can think of
...This new DVDfrom David Gilmour, 'The Voice and Guitar of Pink Floyd', as it says on the sticker on the front, is great value for money as it includes "Over 5 hours of footage plus bonus content, including additional tracks, music videos, documentaries and photo gallery."
Disc 1 is the concert that took place at the RoyalAlbertHall in May 2006 and is a full 2 ½ hours long (including an interval). The running order includes songs from David's latest solo album 'On An Island', with the expected Pink Floyd classics.
David's band is made up of Richard Wright from Pink Floyd, Phil Manzanera from Roxy Music, Jon Carin, Guy Pratt, and Steve DiStanislao. Some of the songs included some very special guests, David Crosby, Graham Nash, David Bowie and Robert Wyatt.
The running order is: Speak To Me, Breathe, Time, Breathe...
