It's actually the Law to start a review of The Mighty Boosh is such a fashion. The second series of The Mighty Boosh is a step up for the duo, but a step down for the budget. For some reason, as we find in the extras, the budget was downgraded after the first series, leaving even less money for Noel's hair than there was during the first series. However, this hasn't dimmed the Boosh's vision for comedy: if anything it's broadened it, from ... ...of Youth, the eccentric genius of the team has never been more free. ...Or gone searching through the desert for a "new sound" and turned into an eagle? Or accidentally summoned up an evil granny demon when looking through a book of black magic? No? Well, it's all in a day's work for Howard Moon and Vince Noir, in this, the second series of their hit comedy show The Mighty Boosh.

Once again the Mighty Boosh has delivered another hilarious series full of more crazy characters and more outrageous adventures. The series even sees Vince with a new hairstyle as well as faces from the past.

The series has been written and also stars Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt. Mighty Boosh has been on stage shows, a BBC radio series and a BBC Three TV series. The show first appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in 1998 ... ...a Douglas Adams Award for the series on Radio 4.
The name of the show came from Noel’s and Mike’s Portuguese friend who said Mike’s hair (Noels brother who also stars in the series) was like a mighty boosh, meaning a mighty bush! The Mighty Boosh are a British comedy group made up of Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding, Rich Fulcher, Bollo, and Michael Fielding. They are a cult comedy show that originally started on stage displaying their crazy and often psychotic comedy and plots. They soon made it to the television with two series on the BBC. The name apparently comes from a remark that Michael Fielding’s friend made about his once curly hair where he referred to it as the ‘Might ... ...stuck. In all the episodes there are the five main characters. Howard Moon played by Julian Barratt who is lonely, sad, he’s the jazz man. In this series he and Vince try their hand at becoming musicians, but they usually fail. Often Howard is the victim who gets rescued by Vince and his glorious situations always end in embarrassment.
