About The Mighty Boosh season 1 DVD is a comedy produced for the BBC. Starring comedians Julian Barratt (who plays Howard Moon) and Noel Fielding (who plays Vince Noir) the comedy duo go on wild mystical and totally random adventures and come across some very strange and wonderful charactors including 'The Hitcher' a cockney geezer, 'Killeroo' a boxing kangaroo and many others. The series is set in a Zoo where characters Howard and Vince are employed to look after the animals. The series also stars Bob Fossil the zoo owner played by Rich Fulcher, Bollo the Ape played by Dave Brown and Naboo the Enigma played by Michael Fielding.
The episode listing on this DVD is: Episode 1: Killeroo Episode 2: Mutants Episode 3: Bollo Episode 4: Tundra Episode 5: Jungle Episode 6: Charlie Episode 7 Electro Episode 8: Hitcher
Special Features include: Inside the Zooniverse History of the Boosh Boosh Music Out Takes Picture Gallery Commentary on Bollo, Tundra, Electro and Hitcher with Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding and Rich Fulcher
Packaging The set of two DVD's comes in a Blue DVD case with a picture of Julian and Noel on the front dressed in their snow gear from the episode 'Tundra'. The DVD's are enclosed inside in two separate DVD holders, one that flips over the other.
Overall I enjoyed watching this comedy because it is much different to any other comedy I have ever watched due to its randomness and random characters, the chemistry on screen between actors Noel and Julian is seen and the contrast of their characters as Vince a young , sociable, stylish guy and Howard an older, unstylish guy who is responsible but wishes he was cool is hilarious. If you are into random comedy this is a DVD for you!
A great watch if you like a bit of random comedy.

Ah, I love that show. Your review is pretty good but could use a little more opinion; the first two thirds of it are just things we could pick up by reading the blurb on the box.

Interesting that you gave it 3 stars as most people either love or hate it. Personally I think series 1 and 2 are fab.

Advantages: Very funny, clever, surreal, quotable, some cool costumes, more true-to-life than other series. Disadvantages: Has a big indie fanbase, feels a little bit last-year.
