I have a confession to make. At first, i couldn't stand the Boosh. I really hated it. I thought it was childish, tacky, stupid....oh how wrong i was. With so many people liking it, i figured i was missing something, so i swallowed my pride and bought series 1 determined to 'get into it' The first episode was a bit slow, and i started to regret my decision. However, i persevered and by the third episode, i was completely hooked. Once you get over the fact that it's SUPPOSED to look thrown together, and you concentrate on the comedy and the situations, you realise it's actually pure genius, and once you realise this, there's no turning back.
If you're not sure about this show, do what i did- just watch it with an open mind and let yourself be taken into a different world. You won't regret it.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? Advantages: Very funny, clever, surreal, quotable,some cool costumes, more true-to-life than other series. Disadvantages: Has a big indie fanbase, feels a little bit last-year.
