Contrary to what most other people will tell you, The Matrix is utter kak. I can justify this claim. I remember my wife and I simply laughing out loud in the cinema at some parts of the film that definitely weren't meant to be funny. I will now give you a few reasons why The Matrix is not worth forking out money for : (1) The wonderful thing about a 'fantasy' world environment is that it enables the Writers (hah!!) and Director to cease ALL creative activity in their brain. Example : Keanu needs a gun....and hey presto!!....a huge room full of guns appear. Sad... (2) I didn't believe for a second that we were all born in a beehive in nests full of goo, and that our lives are just fantasy (see Point 1). And I still don't. (3) Larry Fishburne went down in my estimations massively after this. He was fantastic in Event Horizon (now there's a clever, well-written piece of Sci-Fi)...what on Earth happened? If I carry on any more, my head will start to bleed. Do yourselves a favour. Go and buy Alien, Blade Runner, or even My Stepmom is an Alien...they are all worthy of more praise.

I think I disagree with you completely on this one (although this isn't why I rated your op unhelpful). Most people here expect considerably more detail in an opinion, and certainly better structure. Please look at other peoples ops before writing again. Feel free to contact me if you ammend your op, and I will rerate you. Cheers, Paul D.

Review of The Matrix (DVD)
Advantages: Good film, plenty of action, some amazing special effects. Disadvantages: No quality extras, some poor special effects, feels like a money grabbing exercise.
Advantages: Eye-popping visuals, much more smoother plot, and one of the best car chases I've ever seen Disadvantages: Some people may think its more recycled than reloaded
