The Matrix, is without a doubt, my favourite film, of all time. Forget you Blades, forget your Fight Club's, forget your Gone in 60 Second's, Matrix is the greatest Science Fiction film to be made yet, and it is all thanks to the Wachowski Brothers.

It gave the not only the most thought provoking plot, but it gave masses of entertainment, special effects wise and in the martial arts dealing. I was absolutely delighted with how the Special Effects had been second to none thus far, not even Lucas has been able to top how well The Matrix coped. I believe that regardless of how many times I watch this film, I'll never get bored of it.

It is a film which I had to think about and get my head around to understand the full meaning, and after I had first seen it in cinema, I truly thought twice about my position in the world.

Keanu Reeves, put on a hell of a performance as Neo within the film, and I gained a new found respect for him after he had to learn Kung Fu just for the film. I thought he coped exceedingly well with his attempts and believe that he could do even more high quality stunts in future.

Laurence Fischbourne, who played Morphius, played an extremely good role. I was very excited that he had been cast, and thought that he brought about an excellent presence in the film.

I do not want to get started on how well the plot is, I could talk and talk, and would be terribly afraid of spoiling the ending totally. This, I believe, is on of the best films of the millenium, it had such a fantastic sound track, where even Prodigy got to get a title into.

I am thoroughly awaiting the next two in the trilogy. Matrix II schedualed to be released terribly soon, also looks very promising.

So go on, buy it on DVD, it will be well worth the money you pay for it. It has some excellent special functions, and it will not get old.

Buy it, and vask in its greatness, and be happy as to how well you remember it afteerwards, it stuck in my head for weeks, and I guarentee it shall in yours.
